Job summary

Mace is seeking an Interagency Agreement Coordinator to support the Hudson Tunnel Project, managing and tracking agreements with federal, state, and local agencies and third parties. You will liaise across legal, procurement, environmental, and engineering teams to define scopes and schedules, ensuring timely execution and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of infrastructure project experience with interagency or third-party agreements.
• Strong understanding of public-sector delivery, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with NY/NJ regulatory environments.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development, negotiation, execution, and administration of interagency agreements with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Maintain an agreements register, tracking status, milestones, approvals, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, environmental, and engineering teams to define scopes, costs, and schedules.
• Ensure agreements align with funding requirements, regulatory approvals, and grant conditions.
• Monitor compliance with executed agreements, including reporting obligations and deadlines.
• Identify and manage agreements with third parties affected by construction (utilities, railroads, municipalities, property owners).
• Assist in scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical exhibits for TPA development.
• Coordinate relocation or modification agreements for utilities and infrastructure.
• Track third-party review cycles and approvals to prevent construction delays.
• Prepare briefing materials and executive summaries for project leadership.
