Job summary

Mace in New Jersey is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project and related infrastructure programs. The role focuses on design reviews, technical issue resolution, and coordinating design change documentation across multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of civil engineering experience on large projects, strong roadway design knowledge, and proficient BIM/CAD skills, with a willingness to collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
3-7 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably on large infrastructure or transportation projects.
Strong knowledge of roadway design, permitting, utilities, and drainage systems.
Familiarity with project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
Experience with BIM, 3D modeling, and standard software suites.

Responsibilities

Assist with design reviews, resolve technical issues, and coordinate design change documentation.
Provide technical support during construction and monitor progress against milestones.
Facilitate communication among stakeholders and assist with project documentation.
Offer opinions on constructability and impacts of decisions, including critical path analyses.
Support integration and coordination of project packages across design, construction, and operations teams.
Assist with programmatic oversight of project controls, including schedule and cost management.
Update project controls procedures and prepare regular status reports.
