Title: Interactive Teller

Reports to: Interactive Teller Supervisor

Supervises: None

Status: Non-Exempt

Objective

The Interactive Teller will provide service support to Member transaction needs via multiple channels in a professional, friendly, and compliant manner. The teller will proactively recommend and refer new and alternative financial services to Members that best fit their financial needs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle basic and complex member service interactions related to member accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, account information, share drafts, share certificates, money markets, IRAs, share and lending rates and terms, shared branching, and monitoring transactions for fraud.
• Identify and recommend new and alternative services to Members to meet their financial needs.
• Meet or exceed service and productivity goals.
• Perform all duties in compliance with KEMBA policies and procedures, providing friendly and member-centric service.
• Assist other Interactive Tellers as needed.
• Develop understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, policies, and procedures.
• Continue to improve individual competencies through training and certification.
• Relate effectively with others, maintain professionalism, and respond appropriately to feedback.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior teller experience or equivalent.
• Experience in sales/customer service environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic PC skills (Windows).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Demands

Regularly sit; use hands; reach with arms; occasionally stand, walk, and lift/move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, and focus adjustment.
