Title: Interactive Teller
Reports to: Interactive Teller Supervisor
Supervises: None
Status: Non-Exempt
Objective

The Interactive Teller will provide service support to Member transaction needs via multiple channels in a professional, friendly, and compliant manner. The role involves proactively recommending and referring new and alternative financial services to Members that best fit their financial needs.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Handle basic and complex member service ITM directed interactions related to member accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, account information, share drafts, share certificates, money markets, IRA’s, share and lending rates and terms, shared branching, and monitoring transactions to prevent fraud.
  • Identify and recommend new and alternative services to Members to fit their financial needs.
  • Meet or exceed service and productivity goals.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in compliance with KEMBA policies and procedures.
  • Provide friendly, member-centric service for all requests.
  • Assist other Interactive Tellers as needed.
  • Develop understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and procedures.
  • Improve individual competency through ongoing training and certification.
  • Relate effectively with others, maintain professionalism, and respond appropriately to feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior teller experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in sales/customer service environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High accuracy and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills with proper grammar.
  • Basic PC skills (Windows).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Physical Demands

Regularly sit, manipulate objects, handle, and communicate. Frequently reach with hands and arms. Occasionally stand, walk, and lift/move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision and focus adjustment.
