DISCOVERY Children’s Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada seeks a self-motivated Science & Nature Presenter I for a full-time role. The position involves engaging teachers, students and families with hands-on exhibits, presenting interactive demonstrations and assisting with special activities, all while maintaining a mission-oriented environment and high standards of customer service.

At least a high school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a Science and Nature discipline is

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a Science and Nature discipline or related discipline preferred.
• Teaching experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact in a positive and engaging manner with teachers, students and families and explain hands‑on exhibits.
• Present interactive and educational demonstrations and assist with the development of special activities.
• Present public programs to large audiences inside and outside of the Museum setting.
• Support volunteers throughout the Museum.
