Job summary

CarePoint Health Management Associates in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a board-certified physician to treat patients in the critical/coronary care unit. The candidate will ensure proper injury care, request necessary tests, and manage pain.

Job description

What You’ll Be Doing

Treat patients in the critical/coronary care unit to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists as necessary.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and competencies in the following areas:

• Respiratory dysfunction
• Cardiovascular dysfunction
• Neurological dysfunction
• Neuromuscular dysfunction
• Renal dysfunction
• Gastrointestinal dysfunction
• Hepatic dysfunction
• Hematological disorders
• Oncology disorders
• Evaluate nutritional support for critically ill patients, also with endocrine disorders
• Patient with trauma or septic illness
• Interpretation of diagnostic test results
• Collecting information related to patient and integration in clinical plans
• Communication with patient’s relatives, referring hospital etc.
• Acute & chronic pain management
• Pre & post-operative checkup

What We’re Looking For

• MD degree from an accredited school.
• Board eligible/board certified in Critical Care Medicine.
• State license or (obtain NJ license) and certification.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience using eClinicalWorks and/or Meditech preferred.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
