Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, administer and monitor respiratory care for diverse patient populations in a unified healthcare network. The role supports in-patient, out-patient, and emergency services with a strong emphasis on safety and evidence-based practice.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved program credential, NJ license, and CPR certification, with preferred ACLS/PALS and critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school for Respiratory Care; A.A.S. minimum.
• NJ Respiratory Care License is required.
• CR T and RR T credentials preferred.
• CPR certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in Critical Care, Pediatric and Floor care.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans, administer and evaluate respiratory care modalities as ordered by a physician or protocols.
• Deliver respiratory care services for in-patient, out-patient and emergency department populations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
• Provide emergency, critical care and general respiratory services across age groups.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities:

• Assesses plans, administers, and evaluates patients receiving all respiratory care modalities as ordered by a physician or as delineated by medical center protocols.
• Responsible for the delivery of respiratory care services to the in-patient, out-patient and emergency room population.
• Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Provides emergency, critical care, and general care respiratory services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

• Graduate of A.M.A. approved school for Respiratory Care; A.A.S minimum degree required
• Must have NJ Respiratory Care License
• Must have C. R. T. and R. R. T.
• Must have CPR certification, ACLS and PALS preferred
• Must have experience in Critical Care, Pediatric and Floor care
