MBS - Milestones Behavioral Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Specialist for an Intensive Treatment Classroom in Connecticut. This on-site position involves direct ABA program delivery aligned to each student's IEP, data collection, and collaboration with a team of BCBA®s and teachers.

The role emphasizes safety, professional conduct, and ongoing training on PPE while supporting student progress and staff well-being in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience implementing behavioral assessment/treatment programs with developmentally disabled population.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and proficiency with e-mail communication.
• Good organizational, multitasking, and communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to follow all safety procedures and requirements.

Aufgaben

• Must participate in onsite direct implementation of ABA programs across sessions for all areas of students' IEP.
• Provide direct student care following the prescribed Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Collect and record data on observable student behavior.
• Participate in upkeep of student graphs and graphing systems via graphing software or other visual display.
• Prepare student materials for the school day (workspace, classroom, materials).
• Accompany students on community outings and/or vocational placements.
• Wear PPE, attend PPE training, and follow safety procedures with or without accommodation.
• Maintain dignity, confidentiality & professionalism with students per policy.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
