Penny Lane Centers is seeking a Child and Family Specialist (CFS) as part of the Intensive Services team. The CFS will provide Intensive Home Based Services, using a strengths-based, family-centered approach to support children and families in home, school, and community settings.

This role involves mentoring, coaching, behavioral support, transportation, and case management within a team-driven framework. The CFS must be flexible, exercise good judgment, and maintain a positive attitude in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, or equivalent experience with children.
• Spanish bilingual ability required (verbal).
• Valid California driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Experience with family-centered, strengths-based approaches preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide intensive home-based services to children and families in home, school, and community.
• Offer mentoring, coaching, behavioral support, education and transportation as needed.
• Perform case management and coordinate with school personnel, program staff and others involved with the youth.
• Support adherence to county contracts and family-centered service delivery.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure flexible and positive outcomes.

Formation

Bachelor's degree in social services or related field

4-year degree in non-related field with 2 years' experience

Two years college with three years’ experience

Six months experience with children or 24 units post-graduate studies
