Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. is seeking a full-time Family Support Specialist for the Intensive Family Preservation program in Waterbury, CT. Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with possible evenings or Saturdays as needed.

The role provides support in-home, community, or office settings to help families reduce risk and ensure child safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health (or equivalent experience), CT driver’s license, and experience with EMR systems.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in behavioral health (Social work, Human service or related field).
• Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Valid CT driver’s license and ability to provide own transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide short-term case management services, advocacy, and linkages to services.
• Develop understanding of parenting skills, child development, and caregiver/child attachment.
• Develops and reviews targeted treatment/service plans.
• Maintains appropriate caseload as determined by CMHA and funders.
• Collaborates with community providers and funders as needed.
