Job summary

Cox is seeking Intelligent Automation Engineering Interns to work across Intelligent Automation and Data Analytics teams. You will assist in gathering requirements, develop automated solutions, and build dashboards to reveal insights.

You’ll learn RPA (UiPath/Blue Prism), process mining, and AI-driven automation under senior mentorship. Ideal candidates study automation, data science, ML, generative AI, and modern workflow engineering, with hands-on exposure to Power BI and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, MIS, Engineering, AI or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher and completion of relevant coursework in CS/data analytics.
• Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath/Blue Prism) and process mining.
• Foundational programming experience in listed languages (VB.Net, C#, Python, etc.).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth; exposure to LLM/AI tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; curiosity about automation and AI.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts to gather requirements and design automation solutions.
• Assist in evaluating and prioritizing automation opportunities.
• Apply RPA technologies (UiPath/Blue Prism) to automate business processes.
• Conduct data collection, cleaning and analysis to drive process insights.
• Use process mining techniques to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Develop dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Support ML/AI-powered automation experiments and model validation.
• Document automation steps and participate in design/code reviews.
• Support analytics and automation teams with project coordination.
