Job summary

NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY seeks an Intelligence Specialist in the Operations Oversight Department. Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience, with demonstrated abilities in compliance, analytics, and high-level briefing preparation.

Additional qualification information is provided by OPM and DON DCIPS standards.

  • Specialized experience demonstrating evaluating and securing compliance with laws and programs through permitting, self-assessments, audits, inspections, investigations, enforcement and corrective action activities.
  • Developing and applying analytical tools and methods to assess the status, effectiveness, and efficiency of processes.
  • Conducting command-level analyses and evaluations related to Intelligence Community and acquisition community processes, intelligence activities, or sensitive activities.
  • Authorizing, editing, reviewing, and presenting professional correspondence, visual products, and briefings to leadership for information and consideration.

Job description

You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Operations Oversight Department of NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Evaluating and securing compliance with laws and programs through permitting, self-assessments, audits, inspections, investigations, and enforcement and corrective action activities;
  • Developing and applying analytical tools and methods to assess the status, effectiveness, and efficiency of a variety of processes;
  • Conducting command-level analyses and evaluations related to Intelligence Community and acquisition community process and/or intelligence activities, intelligence-related activities, or sensitive activities;
  • Authorizing, editing, reviewing, and presenting professional correspondence, visual products, and briefings to leadership for information and consideration.
