Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Corrections seeks an Intelligence Analyst to support law enforcement investigations by collecting, analyzing, and managing criminal intelligence information.

The role involves database management, background research, data analysis, report writing, and coordination with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to combat criminal activity and protect the state's correctional system and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• 0–3 years of progressive work experience in intelligence analysis, or 4–6 years if substituting experience for education.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures for receiving, storing, and disseminating criminal intelligence.
• Ability to write clear reports, analyze data, and communicate effectively.
• Experience as a crime researcher, investigator, or crime analyst working with public safety data is preferred.
