Job summary

Obsidian Solutions Group LLC (OSG) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst III to lead all-source threat assessments and risk analysis for overseas and domestic stakeholders. The role interfaces with client representatives and integrates client requirements into operations.

The candidate will supervise a team of analysts, coordinate information collection, and deliver briefings to executive leadership. Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required, and on-site work in Rosslyn, VA is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
• Federal employee currently or previously assigned to the GS-0132 series (or contractor equivalent) with at least one year of experience.
• At least two years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst II in Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk, or equivalent, with demonstrated ability to maintain command and control of intelligence analyst staff.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Current or previous experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the intelligence or law enforcement communities for a minimum of one year; or three years' experience as a Security Engineering Officer or Regional Security Officer in the Diplomatic Security Service;
• Three years' experience as a credentialed or certified technical security expert, counterintelligence agent, or technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) practitioner; or
• Four years' service in the U.S. Armed Services in one or more of the following listed series.
• Proven ability to lead a group of analysts with varying levels of expertise, including the full range of managerial tasks required in a medium-sized office environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all-source intelligence analysis of the threat environment for assigned regions, focusing on technical espionage threats and vulnerabilities.
• Applies qualitative and quantitative analytical risk-management methodologies to assess risks to overseas diplomatic facilities.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop effective risk-mitigation strategies.
• Coordinates information-collection efforts to improve quality, accuracy, and relevance of threat reporting.
• Leads compilation of threat information into periodic reports supporting operational planning for overseas missions and domestic stakeholders.
• Provides written and verbal briefings to executive-level leaders and DoS personnel.
• Develops and maintains liaisons across intelligence, law-enforcement, and international communities; collaborates with analysts across domains.
• Participates in interagency committees to protect national-security information, facilities, and personnel at diplomatic locations.

They will act as primary (or secondary) interlocuter for the intelligence analyst team with client representatives and incorporates client operational and policy requirements into the intelligence analysts' operations.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all-source intelligence analysis of the threat environment, utilizing both classified and open-source reporting streams for assigned geographic regions, with emphasis on technical espionage threats and vulnerabilities.
• Applies qualitative and quantitative analytical risk-management methodologies to assess risks to overseas diplomatic facilities.

• Participates in Department and interagency committees, conferences, and working groups to support the protection of national-security information, facilities, and personnel at diplomatic locations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current U.S. Government final Top Secret security clearance and qualified for SCI access.
• Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.

• US Marine Corps: 02xx, 26xx series
• Proven ability to lead a group of analysts with varying levels of expertise, including the full range of managerial tasks required in a medium-sized office environment.
