Job description

Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required. Candidate must have the ability to successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examination if successful CI Poly has not been recorded within the past five years.
Location: Washington, DC
Term: This position is a (temporary) backfill for a Reservist; it covers March 7, 2025 - October 2, 2025.
Overview: Agile Defense is looking for an Intelligence Analyst to support a federal law enforcement client's criminal investigative program. The analyst will conduct tactical analysis on transnational criminal activities and incidents, and correlate data affiliated with criminal threats. The analyst will develop comprehensive targeting packages using link analysis tools, open-source research, finished intelligence reporting and analysis of communication networks. The analyst will conduct in-depth research of potential threats, subjects, or sources and identify trends and subjects who are engaging or planning to engage in transnational organized crime and money laundering activities. The analyst should be comfortable capturing research in written products that meet customer requirements and should be able to communicate findings clearly to a wide range of stakeholders, including executives.
Travel: CONUS & OCONUS travel may be required
Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience, or 4 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
    • Exceptional communication skills with emphasis on effectively communicating detailed analysis and recommendations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Motivated and disciplined self-starter with the ability to work independently, often juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Experience in preparing presentation materials for a wide audience
    • Experience working in collaborative sessions, while demonstrating strong verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Experience producing varied written documentation products
    • Ability to recognize problems and opportunities, and evaluate strengths and weaknesses of potential solutions to problems
    • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for the degree.
    • Experience and proficiency with customer databases and systems.
