Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified 2nd - 4th-year Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join our expanding IP Litigation and Technology groups. The ideal candidate is a patent litigator with experience managing all phases of litigation, including document production, discovery, depositions, collaboration with experts, and drafting legal memoranda and briefs. Experience with inter partes reviews and PTAB proceedings is a plus.

Our client’s cross-border IP Litigation Practice Group advises clients on critical disputes across the U.S. and U.K. in a dynamic environment. The team comprises high-performing trial lawyers, offering significant professional development opportunities. This position can be based in any U.S. office, with a preference for Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of patent litigation experience in a reputable law firm or IP boutique.
• Technical background or degree in engineering or software (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) preferred.
• J.D. and admitted to the bar in your primary jurisdiction; Texas bar preferred.
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• USPTO admission preferred.
