Job summary

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a qualified professional to coordinate and oversee client-based habilitative programming, including IHPs and IPPs, for a caseload. You will chair interdisciplinary team meetings, supervise diverse staff, and ensure services across speech, medical, social, psychology, and education are delivered in compliance with Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Credentials as MD/DO, RN, or a Bachelor's in a human services field.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and implementation of client-based habilitative programming.
  • Chair inter-disciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  • Supervise staff including residential care supervisors and coordinators.
  • Provide training to staff and ensure Medicaid ICF/IID compliance.
  • Conduct rounds of treatment locations to verify program implementation.
  • Lead 30/90-day and annual reviews of habilitation plans.
  • Coordinate client home visits, transfers, and discharges; liaise with families and staff.
