Job summary

Spire Inc. seeks an Engineer II, Compliance (Integrity Management) to support the Distribution Integrity Management Program and regulatory reporting for DOT and other records.

The role focuses on risk assessments, program updates, and coordination with PHMSA and PSC inspections. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in regulated gas distribution, familiarity with pipeline safety regulations, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and ESRI GIS tools; EIT/PE preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in operations/engineering for a regulated gas distribution system.
• Familiarity with state and federal pipeline safety regulations.
• EIT or PE preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ESRI GIS software.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and update integrity management programs for pipelines and facilities.
• Complete risk assessments and modeling for pipelines and facilities.
• Prepare state and federal reports and documentation for distribution facilities.
• Coordinate inspections and support audits and related reviews.
• Support infrastructure upgrade, replacement, and maintenance programs.
• MAOP verification reviews and record reviews.
