Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Integrative Medicine team in Signal Mountain. You will support care delivery through screenings, clinical procedures, patient education, and care coordination using health IT tools.

You will ensure patient safety, greet patients, record vitals, and assist with specimens, meds, and vaccines as ordered. A collaborative, compassionate, and learning-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required upon hire.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient safety and protect privacy.
• Perform general patient care per standards.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including BP, temp, pulse, respiration, height/weight, allergies, medications, presenting problems.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer medications and vaccines via various routes.
