Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group - Chattanooga Internal Medicine seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support care coordination and direct patient care. You will assist with screenings, clinical procedures, health education, and administrative tasks using technology to coordinate care for diverse populations.

Ideal candidates have CMA credentials, strong clinical knowledge, and a collaborative, learning-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials required upon hire or relevant national certification.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
• Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including BP, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight and current medications.
• Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines as directed.
