Westfield State University is seeking an Integrative Behavioral Health Equity Practicum Education Placement Coordinator in the Social Work department. This part-time, temporary role (20 hours/week) is based on campus in Massachusetts and involves coordinating practicum placements and developing partnerships with community sites to support IBHE initiatives.

The position is grant-funded through 6/30/29 with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) required.
• Minimum of 2 years post bachelor’s experience.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, organizational, and computerskills.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of area social services organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Practicum Education Director in developing and maintaining practicum sites, including IBHE sites.
• Assist in the practicum placement application process for BSW & MSW students as assigned.
• Place assigned BSW/MSW students in appropriate practicum sites.
• Participate in planning of BSW/MSW orientations.
• Maintain the department's web-based practicum documentation system and provide assistance to students, practicum instructors, and faculty as needed, including IBHE data.
• Monitor assigned practicum placements and communicate with the Practicum Education Director regarding any potential disruptions.
• Work with Practicum Director to collect and report annual outcome data, including IBHC data.
• Participate and assist in all Practicum and HRSA Project-related events as requested.

*This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment beyond thegrant period is contingent upon the availability of funding andinstitutional need. Upon the grant's conclusion, the position willbe evaluated for potential adoption and funding by Westfield StateUniversity.

This is a fully in-person position at Westfield State University,with all duties performed on campus during the employee's regularlyscheduled work hours to support direct engagement with students,colleagues, and the campus community, unless your position requirestravel to perform said duties.

General Statement of Duties:

The IBHE Practicum Coordinator will be responsible forparticipating in the application process and placement of studentsat practicum sites. Their focus will be in developing new practicumsites and maintaining existing community partner sites inMassachusetts within integrated behavioral health/primarycare/school-based health clinic settings focusing on children,youth, and family. This role will be responsible to provide IBHconsultations to practicum supervisors. This is a half-time (20hours/week) twelve-month position with benefits.
