Position Description

Westfield State University Department of Social Work is seekingapplications for a full-time, one-year contract Assistant Professorof Social Work. The responsibilities for the position will includeteaching Social Work at the graduate level and undergraduate levelin the University’s existing BSW and MSW programs. The program islooking for faculty with the ability to teach clinical practice andfoundation MSW and BSW classes.

The position includes a 24-credit teaching load annually, studentadvising, scholarship (work toward a doctoral degree is consideredscholarship), and service to the University. The position willstart September 1, 2027.

Job Requirements

• MSW
