Job summary

HomeXpress is seeking a Software Developer, Integrations & Automation to design, develop, and support our mortgage software ecosystem. You will own integrations, APIs, and automation across broker portals and internal platforms.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure solutions, collaboration with offshore teams, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs, ensure security and compliance, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, PHP or similar enterprise tech.
Experience designing and supporting APIs, integrations, and data exchanges.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise software applications, APIs, integrations, automation solutions, and data exchange processes.
Serve as a technical owner for assigned applications, ensuring long-term maintainability and performance.
Develop code for enhancements, production issues, integrations, and automation initiatives.
Support automation projects that reduce manual loan processing and lower costs to originate.
Collaborate with offshore partners, vendors, QA, BAs, and IT leadership to deliver scalable solutions.
Create and maintain API and data flow documentation, interface specs, and runbooks.
Monitor integration health and troubleshoot vendor integrations with internal teams.
