Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to join our SEIT team. You will conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware/software design through aircraft installation to ensure systems work reliably.

The role requires a BS or MS in engineering with 2+ years of related experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. On-site work with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree with 2+ years of related experience or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in documenting, testing, and troubleshooting integrated hardware/software/firmware for production systems
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines under cost and schedule constraints
• Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret Clearance with additional customer specified clearance as necessary

Responsibilities

• Generation of test plans, test procedures, test automation, and test reports
• Execution of integration test activities (system integration, design verification tests, qualification tests) in system integration labs or offsite locations
• Work as part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team to understand the systems engineering process across a product’s lifecycle
• Gaining an understanding of how the systems operate and ensuring the tests cover hardware/software/firmware interfaces
