Responsibilities

• Perform as a Systems Engineer within the Test Solutions area on automated test equipment.
• Develop requirements from proposals and changes with traceability.
• Use DOORS / DOORS Next for requirements management.
• Develop system architectures and write performance specs and ICDs.
• Work with COTS ATE instruments (DMMs, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power supplies, loads).
• Apply calibration standards to perform obsolescence trade studies.
• Prepare Integration & Test docs, troubleshoot, run tests, interpret drawings.

Systems Engineer (Level 2) Location: Orlando, FL Desired Start Date: 11/10/2026 End Date: 5/7/2027 Work Schedule: 4/10 - 1st Shift (Onsite Full-Time) Pay Rate Range: $40.00 - $96.00 Hourly (NOOT, Exempt)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems at all levels, from concept and design to testing and disposal. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform as a Systems Engineer within the Test Solutions Business area, working directly on test stations within the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) branch.
• Develop requirements from customer proposals and engineering changes, performing rigorous requirements analysis and traceability.
• Utilize DOORS / DOORS Next proficiently for requirements management.
• Participate in developing systems architectures and author performance specifications and interface control documents.
• Work extensively with COTS-based ATE instruments such as Digital MultiMeters, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Power Supplies, and Loads.
• Apply a thorough understanding of US Government calibration standards to perform obsolescence trade studies.
• Author Integration & Test documentation, conduct troubleshooting, execute tests, and interpret hardware design drawings and parts lists.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field with at least 5 years of working experience (Level 2: BS + 4-8 years or MS + 2-6 years).

Clearance Note: Candidates will be required to obtain a security clearance once they convert. Please ensure candidates are aware of this expectation.

Ability to work on-site full-time on a 4/10 1st Shift schedule.
