Job summary

Trace3 is seeking an Integration Technician to lead the integration of sales orders and build-outs of servers, storage, networking, and racks to meet customer ship dates. This is an onsite position in Milpitas, CA.

The role requires configuring hardware and software, implementing OS/hypervisors, and providing technical support to customers and the sales team. The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent, at least three years of related experience, and strong Windows and Linux

Qualifications

  • Minimum associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Experience working in a Windows environment as well as Linux.
  • Demonstrated competency in conducting technical research to support troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical support to sales staff and customers.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
  • Communicate with sales teams about any impact on order status.
  • Assist with customer questions regarding systems.
  • Conduct technical research (online, telephone, or documentation).

About the Role

The Integration Technician will play a key role in the integration of sales orders to meet customer requirements. Daily duties include managing technical sales order build‑outs. These orders would encompass servers, storage, networking, and rack build‑outs to meet customer outcomes and ship dates. Onsite Position.

What You’ll Do

  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical support to sales staff and customers is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Must be professional in appearance and demeanor. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as well as the ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Must be team‑oriented and able to work overtime.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary: $21 - $28 USD per hour.
