Job summary

Marshall Industries Inc. in Aurora, CO is seeking an Education Sales Consultant/Integration Specialist to join the Denver/Aurora team. This role focuses on selling AV solutions to education facilities, including school districts and higher education institutions.

You will develop sales strategies, service existing clients, and generate new business while presenting proposals and working with engineering teams to tailor the best AV solutions for educational environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an Audio Video field or as an educator/education administrator.
• Knowledge of district education structure is a plus.
• Superior customer service skills required.
• Must be professional, positive, reliable, responsive, hardworking and self-motivated.
• Positive attitude daily, team player, represent Marshall Industries well.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Marshall Industries Inc., an employee-owned company established in 1975, is a leader in the Audio/Video integration industry and we serve a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, House of Worship, Communications, and Commercial AV. We are currently seeking an Education Sales Consultant/Integration Specialist to join our Denver/Aurora, CO team.

This is a rare opportunity to work as an Education Sales Representative in a very established company. This exciting position provides the opportunity to work alongside school districts and higher education facilities to fulfill their Audio-Video needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of sales strategies, while adopting a proven sales process to fulfill personal and company goals.
• Responsible for servicing existing client base while generating new business to expand current customer base.
• Responsible for writing & submitting professional proposals.
• Promote Marshall Industries products and services as they relate to the education market. This includes intercom, sound reinforcement, classroom instructional audio video, other classroom av systems, and emergency management software.
• Must possess the ability to acquire & maintain knowledge of all product lines & services offered. Marshall Industries will provide training.
• Will be required to present to a group and speak publicly.
• Work with sales and engineering teams to provide the best solution for the client.

Travel:

It is expected that this position will require some travel to customer locations as well as events.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

• Sales Consultant is required to be able to speak and present themselves as a professional Rep of Marshall Industries.
• Must be willing to speak in public for opportunities and training purposes.
• Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
• Some light lifting of objects is required. (Demo equipment, tradeshow booths etc)
• Reaching, grasping and carrying activities is also required.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation:

• Salary + commission compensation structure. Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
• A detailed commission package will be provided outlining earnings based on the company’s sales commission plan.
