Job summary

AllianceHCM, headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, is seeking a full-time Integration Project Manager to lead technical discovery with vendors and design custom integration workflows.

You will configure integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware, manage the full project lifecycle from scoping to post-launch support, and act as the primary technical liaison between client IT and our engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, Webhooks, OAuth2, API keys.
  • Effective communicator of complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience mapping data and troubleshooting synchronization across systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority integration projects with deadlines.
  • Experience with software development teams, QA, and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with third-party vendors to understand systems and design integration workflows.
  • Configure and develop integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools for seamless connectivity.
  • Manage full lifecycle of integration projects from scoping to testing, deployment and post-launch support.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

This is an onsite, in-office position located in The Woodlands, Texas. As a full-time team member, you will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, collaborating closely with colleagues and clients during regular business hours.

As an Integration Project Manager, you will lead technical discovery sessions with third-party vendors to understand their systems and design custom integration workflows that meet our business needs. You will configure and develop integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between AllianceHCM and external platforms. Throughout the day, you will manage the full lifecycle of integration projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering all the way through testing, deployment, and ongoing post-launch support. You will act as the primary technical liaison between client IT teams and our internal engineering and product departments, collaborating to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.


INTEGRATION PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, Webhooks, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, API Keys)
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and professionally
  • Experience in troubleshooting data synchronization issues and mapping complex logic between disparate systems
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority integration projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
  • Experience working closely with software developers, QA engineers, and customer success teams
Preferred:
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries to analyze and validate large datasets
  • Familiarity with iPaaS tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Tray.io, or Boomi)
  • Experience or knowledge with Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll systems, or benefits administration technology
  • Experience managing legacy integration methods like SFTP and fixed-width/CSV file transfers
  • Experience connecting platforms with Salesforce via API or native connectors
