Job summary

Avalore, LLC seeks an Integration Engineer to perform software integration for the WDP System, ensuring disparate components—infra, data services, and UI—work together as a complete system.

You will design and execute integration tests, troubleshoot complex issues, develop integration strategies, implement CI practices, and create automated test suites. Travel up to 10% may apply; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• SECRET Security Clearance required.
• For Junior / Journeyman: CSSLP, GCLD, or GSEC certification.
• For Senior: FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF or SSCP certification.
• Levels offered: Junior (0-3 years + Bachelor's), Journeyman (4-7 years + Bachelor's), Senior (8+ years + Bachelor's).

Responsibilities

Job description

The Integration Engineer will perform the software integration activities required for the WDP System. This person will focus on ensuring that all disparate software components—including infrastructure, data services, and user interfaces—work together seamlessly as a complete system. This person will design and execute integration tests and troubleshoot complex issues that arise between components across the various system environments. This person will develop and maintain integration strategies and plans, implement continuous integration practices and tools, and create automated integration test suites. This person will manage dependencies between components and systems, coordinate integration activities across multiple teams, and establish integration environments that accurately reflect production. This person will troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, document integration points and interfaces, and implement service virtualization for testing. This person will validate API implementations against specifications, monitor and report on integration metrics and success rates, and implement integration patterns such as message queues, APIs, and event-driven architectures. This person will collaborate with development teams to ensure components are designed for integration, participate in architecture discussions to address integration challenges, and stay current with integration technologies and best practices.
