Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Memphis, Tennessee seeks an Integrated Systems Service Technician to service fire alarm, security, camera and access control systems. You will install, test and repair multiple integrated systems, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with customers.

Two to three years of field experience is required; NICET certification is desirable. A company vehicle, benefits, and ongoing training opportunities are provided to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years servicing fire alarm, security, camera or access control systems.
• Ability to read plans and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.
• Willingness to pass background checks and drive company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and false alarms; test for proper operation.
• Program systems and test; consult with clients on issues and provide solutions.
• Read blueprints and determine appropriate install/service tasks.
• Run wiring, install hardware, inspect systems, and ensure NEC/NFPA compliance.
• Explain system function to end users and provide support for forms.
• Be on call as required; work with remote troubleshooting when needed.
