Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is seeking an Integrated Services Discharge Manager in Lexington, OK to connect individuals leaving corrections facilities with mental health, substance abuse services, housing, and recovery support in the community.

You will manage a caseload, collaborate with correctional staff, social benefits and educational programs, and refer clients to state-wide reentry programs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field or closely related field with one year of professional case management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field with two years of professional case management experience.
  • Must be Case Management II certified or eligible to receive certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Link individuals leaving correctional facilities to mental health and substance abuse services, housing, and recovery support.
  • Manage a caseload and work with an interdisciplinary team in collaboration with correctional staff.
  • Screen and refer individuals to state-wide reentry programs.

Integrated Services Discharge Manager

About the Position: This position provides professional services to link individuals leaving Correctional Facilities to mental health and substance abuse services, housing, and recovery support in the community. The individual selected for this position will manage a caseload, participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team working closely with correctional staff, work collaboratively with social benefits and educational assistance entities, and screen and refer individuals to various state-wide reentry programs.


Recruiting for the following work location: Lexington, OK (Joseph Harp Correctional Center)

  • Annual Salary is $51,250.00 plus benefits!

  • Primary Working Hours: M-F; 8-5 onsite

  • FLSA Status: Nonexempt


Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in a behavioral health field or closely related behavioral science field and one year of experience in professional case management behavioral health services OR a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field and two years of professional experience in professional case management behavioral health services.




Special Requirements: Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position. Additionally, applicants must be Case Management II certified or be eligible to receive certification within six (6) months of hire date.
