Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT Lead) to head subsystem engineering efforts for cutting-edge GA-EMS products. You will direct cross-functional teams, drive engineering processes, and ensure design integrity through the system development cycle.

The role requires substantial experience in systems engineering, program management, and leadership, with potential involvement in major reviews and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years with a bachelor's or 2+ years with a master's; equivalent experience accepted.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge with ability to lead a cross-functional team.
• Experience with DOD systems and TS/SCI clearance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead subsystem engineering for integrated products within IPTs.
• Plan, execute, and track engineering plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance commitments.
• Coordinate day-to-day engineering activities for the IPT and guide engineers and technicians.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
• Represent engineering in reviews with senior staff and customers.
