Job summary

General Atomics is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design, integration, and testing of high-power processing and control systems across GA-EMS product lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related field from an accredited institution with progressive engineering experience.
• Active DoD Security Clearance required.
• Experience: electrical system command and data-handling architecture; high-speed digital circuit design; embedded processing and controls; hardware systems design across digital/analog/RF; production transition; familiarity with DoD reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Desired: high-reliability aerospace electronics and unmanned space systems including micro/cube/satellites (>500 kg).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage schedules and coordinate workloads to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development, design, integration, and test of high-power processing and control solutions across product lines.
• Provide technical objectives, guidance, and oversight for projects and programs.
• Improve legacy systems and develop new ones with electrical architecture solutions.
• Document analyses, communicate results to management, and present to teams.
• Plan multi-year deployments and coordinate documentation, reporting, and presentations.
• Represent GA-EMS as a prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
