Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in a related degree program.
• Interest in energy systems, utility planning, or infrastructure planning.
• Coursework in power systems, forecasting, GIS, or data analytics.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools listed (Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Support analytical, strategic, and technical projects related to distribution system planning and utility resource planning.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and data analysts to evaluate future energy needs and regulatory initiatives.
• Gain hands-on experience with utility data, forecasting methods, energy planning concepts, and decarbonization strategies.
• Analyze distributed energy resources, electrification trends, gas innovation opportunities, load growth, and infrastructure investments.
