Job summary

FXI is seeking a Production Planner to schedule and coordinate daily operations across pourline, cutting, slitting, and fabrication. You will set priorities and production sequences, issue orders, and support both plant and customer expectations.

The role requires SAP/ERP proficiency, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and excellent communication. You will work with the Pourline, Scheduling, and Production teams to optimize throughput and minimize scrap.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP (or another ERP) and MS Windows programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, communicate, and coordinate daily production operations for pourline, cutting, slitting, and fabrication.
• Establish priorities and production sequences; issue production orders; support plant and customer expectations.
• Participate in department meetings and teamwork processes; communicate issues to relevant teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and material shortages; propose improvements to minimize scrap.
• Back up master scheduling and inventory/material setups as needed.
