Job summary

B&P Solutions, LLC invites applications for a Senior IMHS Program Manager to lead mental health service initiatives in support of military and veterans communities from our Raleigh, NC area operations.

The role requires licensure, extensive experience in behavioral health, and the ability to coordinate across multiple sites and events, delivering program data and guidance to COR and partners.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of federal and state legal requirements pertaining to mental health counseling and patient confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and Privacy Acts in civilian and military settings as well as the professional ethics surrounding the mental health career field.
  • Strong organizational & communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • One year experience working with a Computerized Medical database system preferred.
  • One year experience working on a virtual team preferred.
  • Current certification or licensure in evidence based treatment for psychological trauma.

Responsibilities

  • Execute key administrative functions, to include optimization of crisis intervention, coverage/scheduling on‑call availability for the IMHS hotline, ensuring case management record system is maintained as current, ensuring consent for Outreach documentation has been received for all clients receiving support, and ensure coverage/scheduling of clinical staff based on mission support as requested by the COR for staff deployment to support redeployment operations.
  • Ensure clinical and non‑clinical case managers are coordinating behavioral health care efforts across client's varying range of issues, to ensure a holistic approach is taken relative to each client.
  • Roll up case management data reports; submit written report to COR annually.
  • Evaluate behavioral health trends and program services and submit written report to COR annually for potential program development/initiatives to be considered by the Gov't.
  • Forward rates of program usage and satisfaction metrics reports run by team leads; submit to COR on a quarterly basis.
  • Coordinate support to ensure proper IMHS coverage is achieved at various events. Potential events include: Yellow Ribbon, deployment and redeployment, Commander and 1SG Course, Family Programs events, Victim Advocate, Causality, Unit Risk Inventories, and Military Funeral Honors training.
  • Provide IMHS technical guidance/direction concerning proper case management and mental health protocols to clinical and non‑clinical case managers.
  • Coordinate with Behavioral Health Operations Program (BHOP) concerning Joint BHOP/ IMHS events.
  • Provide IMHS expertise at external NCNG meetings to include Governor's Working Group, North Carolina Institute of Medicine Working Group, Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) group works, Duke University, Cognitive Behavioral Research and Treatment Program, UNC Chapel Hill, Department of Psychiatry (various military/veteran research studies), VA(MC) Mental Health Summits, RTI International, and Center for Applied Public Health Research
  • Provide IMHS expertise at NCNG Battle Rhythm events to include Case Management Group, Commander's Ready and Resilience Council, and NCNG Stand Up Workgroups
  • Attend G1 and G1-SSS Meetings to receive IMHS program feedback and ensure sufficient IMHS coverage is attained at upcoming events.
