Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a senior professional to own how the company shows up with key industry associations across the U.S. and Canada, shaping visibility, influence and reputation in the advertising and marketing landscape.

You will lead memberships, ensure value, and partner with Sales to translate benefits into business results, while coordinating speaking opportunities at major events and developing programming for Pinterest-owned events and external moments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in integrated marketing, industry relations, communications or event marketing
• Experience managing industry association memberships or external relationships
• Experience preparing spokespeople for stage moments with briefs and talking points
• Experience delivering end-to-end events and activations with sponsorships, panels, budgets and timelines
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, including Sales leadership
• Proven ability to use AI to accelerate research, briefing and reporting with quality control
• Strong evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work and data sensitivity
• Willingness to travel for industry events and speaking engagements

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pinterest's day-to-day contact for key industry associations, leading memberships and commitments
• Ensure value from each membership; advise on continuing, deepening, sustaining or exiting relationships
• Partner with Sales leadership to ensure membership benefits are utilized and deliver value
• Inform Pinterest's speaking strategy and lead execution at US/Canada industry moments like CES and POSSIBLE
• Develop programming for Pinterest's owned events and industry events across the US and Canada
• Support agency events and client moments with executive panels
• Prepare internal spokespeople and executives for speaking engagements with briefs and narratives
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritize high-impact opportunities
• Track, measure and report value of memberships and speaking engagements, using AI where appropriate
• Use AI to accelerate research, briefing and reporting while verifying accuracy and quality
