You will coordinate inputs across multiple teams, guide forward-looking plans, and align regulatory and corporate objectives with Xcel Energy's Net Zero vision. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, leadership of a distributed team, and collaboration across Regulatory, Electric, Gas Operations, and planning groups to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math/Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in electric distribution or gas planning or non-traditional solution development.
• Demonstrated success in a supervisory or lead role overseeing complex projects.
• Strong relationship-building and partnership skills across a largely virtual team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to synthesize data for senior leaders.
• Strong problem-solving ability, both business and technical.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range gas and electric distribution planning.
• Oversee integrated analysis of gas-electric solutions and alternatives.
• Support Grid of the Future initiatives with evaluative analyses.
• Develop planning scenarios aligned with ISP frameworks.
• Inform long-range growth assessments and regional development.
• Champion non-traditional solutions including non-wires and DER-enabled options.
• Ensure forecasting inputs and methodologies are consistent across planning functions.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional counterparts for alignment.
• Lead a high-performing, diverse team and cross-functional collaboration.
