Job summary

Monte Sano Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the development of missile Integrated Flight Simulations (IFS). Education includes a BS in engineering or related fields, with MS preferred. Candidate must be a U.S.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or a science related degree is required.
M.S. degree is preferred.
4–20 years of experience preferred.
Experience with C/C++, FORTRAN, MATLAB, and Linux highly desirable.
Knowledge of missile 6DOF simulations and verification/validation is desirable.

Responsibilities

This position will provide simulation analysis and engineering support for a tactical missile system and assist in the development of an Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS).
Primary duties include developing analysis tools, performing system analysis, executing high fidelity simulations, integrating and enhancing existing simulation code, performing verification and validation activities, preparing documentation/presentations, and completing pre and post flight analysis on systems tests.
