Job summary

VSC Fire & Security, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland, is seeking candidates for the position of Integrated Systems Service Technician.

The role involves servicing multiple integrated systems, resolving issues, and delivering customer-focused support on fire alarm, intrusion, access control, CCTV, and related technologies. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on experience with at least one system type listed, strong reading and communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience servicing one or more systems: fire alarm, security, camera systems, access control, or similar.
• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to read plans, documents, meters, and discern colors for safety signage.
• Eagerness for professional development and growth; able to pass background checks; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and false alarms.
• Program multiple system types and test for proper operation.
• Consult with clients on system issues and provide recommendations.
• Use blueprints to determine proper installations and services.
