FM & HVAC Recruitment Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to lead an Integrated Facilities Management operation at a highly technical client site in Rancho Bernardo, near San Diego.

The role oversees site operations, client relationships, technical services, financial performance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in facilities management, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls, and building systems, plus proven leadership and vendor management

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive facilities management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, controls and building systems.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors and performance metrics.
• Experience in highly technical environments (manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, or pharma) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IFM operations at a complex technical facility.
• Serve as primary contact for senior client stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary facilities team.
• Oversee engineering, maintenance, vendors and service delivery.
• Manage budgets, KPIs, SLAs and overall account performance.
• Ensure safety, compliance, reliability and operational standards.
• Drive preventative maintenance and cost optimization.
• Partner with client leadership on projects and capital planning.
