Job summary

PEOPLE'S HEALTH CENTERS in St. Louis, Missouri, United States seeks a Co-Occurring Counselor to join the Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) team.

The role provides individual, group, couples and family counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning to adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. You will participate in daily ITCD team meetings, on-call rotation, and collaborate with center leadership to ensure fidelity to the national ITCD model

Qualifications

• Licensed QMHP with one year of full-time experience in substance use treatment, or actively pursuing IT-specific training with supervision.
• Ability to provide individual, group, couples and family counseling and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with treatment planning, service coordination, and documentation in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services to adults with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Attend daily ITCD team meetings and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop and monitor comprehensive service plans and progress notes.
• Coordinate with center leadership to ensure fidelity to the ITCD model.
