Job summary

Under close supervision, the entry-level worker learns regulations, procedures, forms, and program requirements during orientation and training.

Promotion to Integrated Case Worker II is possible after one year of satisfactory performance and demonstrated

Qualifications

• Knowledge of eligibility determination for public assistance programs
• Ability to interview diverse clients and gather information
• Fundamental case management and employment services concepts
• Basic computer and records-keeping skills

Responsibilities

• Attend training sessions and learn program requirements
• Conduct group orientations and assist with applications
• Interview and advise clients to determine eligibility and benefits
• Assist with transportation, training, and ancillary services
• Maintain and organize client caseload and records
• Coordinate case management with staff and community resources
• Potentially guide clients through job readiness and employment services
