Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an Integrated Case Management Specialist to provide services related to insurance management and support Care Coordinators. The role includes processing Appeals and Denial information and handling Medicaid appointments.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, experience in the healthcare industry, and strong communication and computer skills. Preferred qualifications include a BSW/CSW and recent hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Ability to learn new computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform services related to insurance management with various payors.
• Prepare Appeals and Denial information for processing.
• Oversee sorting and distribution of mail in the department.

Skills

Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills

Proficient computer, word-processing and Excel spreadsheet skills

Strong time management and priority-setting skills

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Education

High School diploma or GED
