An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist to join their Family & Youth team. Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for an Integrated Behavioral Health Therapist to work on the Family & Youth team. This position will be split between providing both mental health and substance use disorder assessments and treatment in both the McMinnville clinic and the Yamhill County juvenile detention locations. Duties will include engagement, crisis support, diagnosing, direct treatment, performing integrated behavioral health assessments, service planning and implementation, individual and family therapy, case management, and collaborative service documentation. This position may be responsible for providing clinic-based crisis coverage during regular business hours as part of a team rotation schedule, and/or providing crisis support within the juvenile detention setting.
This position may be filled as either an Advanced Practice Behavioral Health Clinician or a Behavioral Health Clinician, depending on experience and credentialing.

Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $5751 - $7351/month (DOE)

The Qualifications:
Preference will be given to those applicants with training and experience in evidence-based practices and experience providing intensive mental health and addictions services in outpatient and/or milieu-based settings.
Will be subject to successful completion of a background check.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have excellent skills in organization, paperwork management, and communication - both verbally and in writing, in addition to typing and computer proficiency. They must be able to prepare concise and complete client treatment progress records. They will be dependable, self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to interact with co-workers, clients, and the public in a courteous, professional manner. They must have working knowledge of community mental health and substance use disorder services and demonstrated knowledge and skill with diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment planning techniques specifically related to community behavioral health services. The ideal candidate will possess experience in preparing documentation for court and be able to engage with mandated clients. The candidate will also demonstrate an ability to understand the behavior of people under stress, develop cooperative relationships with clients, their families, and the community, and maintain relationships with physicians, law enforcement agencies, the courts, public and private administrators, and the community in general.
