Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic seeks a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide primary care-based behavioral health services at Lancaster Family Health Center in Salem, OR. The role supports patients with complex needs within a team, leveraging a PsyD/PhD clinical psychologist or a licensed Master’s-level therapist.

We are a patient-centered medical home offering integrative care and a broad range of services; relocation is available for this Exempt, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or clinical psychology training for primary care integration.
• Experience in multidisciplinary primary care or medical settings preferred.
• Licensure as Psychologist and BLS certification within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site behavioral health services in a primary care clinic.
• Consult with Providers to aid primary care of patients.
• Serve as primary mental health provider or ancillary provider as needed.
• Assist with diagnoses and contextual and relational perspectives.
• Work in an interdisciplinary team on treatment plans and patient advocacy.
• Develop funding proposals and participate in new programming as requested.
