Job summary

United Community Health Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Program Coordinator to support integrated behavioral health and substance use services across clinical locations. You will liaise between patients and providers to navigate treatment options and help increase access to timely care within the UCHC community.

Key duties include scheduling, intake triage, coordinating Telehealth services, processing payments, and training staff on new workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Behavioral health care coordination.
• Ability to work independently with strong focus and task orientation.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; HIPAA privacy knowledge.
• Experience in behavioral health or medical settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care between patients, providers and services.
• Gain understanding of insurance plans and coverage for behavioral health.
• Schedule visits, coordinate transportation, and open/close clinics.
• Assist with Telehealth services and scheduling.
• Print documentation for patient visits and complete triage/assessments.
• Coordinate logistics for BH department and manage supplies/equipment.
• Train new staff and implement new workflows as needed.
• Support program development and interdepartmental collaboration.
