Job summary

Pure Infusion in Utah is hiring an Intake Trainer to design and implement training programs for onboarding intake staff and for ongoing education. The role demands observant, creative, and analytical thinking, with tailored training approaches for individuals.

You will work with insurance payers on prior authorizations and coordinate with remote teams across multiple states to support specialty drug access.

Qualifications

• Experience with prior authorizations, appeals and denials.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
• Ability to collaborate with others and offer outstanding customer service.
• High degree of computer literacy in a PC environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Six months of experience with federal and commercial payer authorizations.
• Three months of experience with national contract payer authorizations.
• Three months of experience with single case agreements.

Responsibilities

• Comfortable working daily with insurance payers to gain prior authorization approval for specialty drug treatments.
• Continuously evaluate employee performance and knowledge to gauge what skills need improvement.
• Create training materials to address gaps in knowledge for the intake team.
• Use available software to create and prepare training materials.
• Create training schedule for new employees.
• Continue to research new and better training methods.
• Research new and more efficient training methods.
• Comfortable working with remote teams in multiple states to coordinate access to specialty drugs and infusion treatments.
• Understands prior authorization of specialty drug regimens.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested to maintain a high level of service.
• Demonstrates professional work behavior by following Service Standards and Success factors.
• Complies with departmental organizational policies and procedures and adheres to external agency requirements.
