Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as an Intake Authorization Coordinator.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with insurance benefit checks and prior authorizations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Internet, and word processing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate intake processes including benefits verification and authorization.
• Coordinate interactions with caregivers, physicians, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and complete records and assist revenue team with billing.
• Educate self on services offered and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support the team and maintain professional appearance and ethics.
