Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college education or coursework in healthcare administration or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of office or administrative experience is required.
• Experience coordinating administrative activities and managing multiple assignments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily clerical and administrative functions in support of clinical intake staff.
• Assists with coordinating daily workflow, prioritizing assignments, and supporting fellow Intake Clerks.
• Provides guidance and assistance to team members regarding intake procedures and scheduling processes.
• Coordinates scheduling and staffing of skilled nursing services according to agency guidelines.
• Maintains nurse availability lists, schedules, time-off records, and scheduling logs.
• Confirms weekend and on-call coverage and communicates scheduling changes to appropriate personnel.
• Monitors Start of Care and Not Taken Under Care scheduling and communicates delays to management.
• Onboards and trains new Intake Clerks and provides routine workflow guidance.
